What About the Babies?

Several years ago, we gathered local stakeholders to think strategically about the babies in our county. We called this work “What about the babies?” The goal: that each baby in our county be born healthy and reach critical milestones by age 3. This journey has included learning about neuroscience, relationships, Adverse Child Experiences (ACEs), and resilience. We also look at existing Pickens County assets and resources, discussing how we can work together to refer and utilize the services available in our county.
